I agree with Donnie, unless we are barricading off the whole lot so there is only 1 entrance, And I don't see that happening.

Also we are going to need prizes of some sort or trofies....why els would anyone enter the car show....right?

nowhere lol, so we probably wouldn't be charging people anything to get in. either that or have caution tape with steaks all around the lot...but it's not too hard to slip through.

i don't think kids sneaking in and out should be a huge deal at a charity event.. but i guess there is the occasional @$$ hole.. i think the $5 a car is a good idea dan, and jj the 50/50 will def gather a huge chunk of change as well.. drivers $5 a piece and ppl walking in/passengers $3 a piece.. it wouldn't be to hard to baracade off.. we can just get some tickets/wristbands so that when you come in you're all set.. i can look into that. if you don't have a ticket/armband- your out. thats all..

how about for the votes you have to go around and put some sort of dollar bill in a locked box in front of the car you liked most. and of course all money goes to the family... i doubt we'll get a lot of money that way but maybe its a good thought?

Okay so here is the scoop. I talked to his mother, and she is all for the idea. She loves the idea actually. I talked to my Principal and he told me we might need to pull a permit or too which isnt a big deal you know? But we needed a shaperon(spelling?) someone who is much older then us to watch over everthing and keep an overall order of everything.

So I called Mr. Rob S. and he is going to do that for us.

I guess I can also provide some trash barrells and bags and some drinks. I know Kevin was talking about getting some food for us..

I think we would use 1 parking lot or 2 for the show and have the other lot for parking and the lower lot for visitors parking.

I say 5 dollars to enter the show, and 3 to get in and walk around. We would set up a table at the enterances and they would state show or not and if so we would give them a slip to fill out and put in there window. In order to mark owners of cars I guess we could use a marker of some sort and mark them with a red X on the hand and visitors to be marked with black X.

The car show classes would be..

Best in show
Best Euro Car
Best Import Car
Best Domestic Car
Best Import Truck
Best Domestic Truck
Best JDM
Best Oldschool

I know a bunch of people who are already planning on going. I want to see if we can get a bunch more...

I guess this would take place in late May, on a sunday maybe from 9am to 3pm, with drinks and refreshments and everything..

Maybe one of these nights have a meeting to go over everything and have it set in stone!

don't forget bonny eagle is may 18th, the only other day i think therer's stuff going on is may 17th for import wars, then june 1st for sccnh autocross. basically, don't plan anything on those days lol.
