I have a Vag-Com cable if you need scanned.

Anyhoo if your HPFP punched through the CAM follower (Very possible with the code you reported) then you are gonna need to take that to the dealer ASAP. AV/Audi has a extended warranty for 10/120,000 on the HPFP/cam follower IIRC.

I also think its the cam follower.. They do wear down and recommended replacement intervals was 50k I believe. Not sure how many miles are on your car but it more common then a actual fuel pump failure

just ran up to laconia and back. didn't have any loss in boost, acceleration reaction time or anything abnormal. I'm starting to think its the HPFP, except without the bogging issues lol

Its easy to check the HPFP:
I know there is a DIY for this on vwvortex, however i added a few helpful things. First off a little history on my mkv gti. I am running stg3 kit from APR this will include the APR HPFP (this is the main part i am working with as the same with you all) The motor has about 5000 miles on...

just turned my car back on, CEL is now off without being cleared. still going on monday, that's why I figured it was the HPFP after punching it through the gears

I kicked a code on the mid level luxury avant.. was a random misfire on my 5th cylinder it ended up being a bad coil. It's a VW product don't worry about the MIL.

I have encountered pretty weird CEL's getting thrown when R8 coilpacks are used on 2.0T's. They are thought of as a "performance" upgrade to the standard ones but that hasn't been proven. Never used them on my own car so I dunno.

These cars are so picky when it comes to certain components.
