This will be a completely custom build, starting with a rolling chassis with front disc brakes and not much else. Power is comming from a 1986 Kawasaki Ninja 1000R engine (GPz1000RX).
Wet weight for the bike loaded with full tank of gas, oil and coolant is 588lbs, that will be my goal, to keep the project as close to or under that weight.
Still working out the details in my mind, going to start this weekend in hopes to mount the engine to the rear end.
Pics of the Tyrant, these were not taken by me, they are only to show it's current state.
The Ninja 1000R's engine cranked out 125 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and 66.4 foot-pounds of torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine had a compression ratio of 10.2 to 1.
The Ninja 1000R could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and could pass the quarter mile mark in 10.7 seconds with a speed of 128.5 mph.Top speed was 143 mph.
