My buddy in Indiana had a huge tree stump in his backyard several years ago. We were working on a race car and had to change the oil. When we were done, he stuck a funnel in a hole in the stump and poured in the oil.

When I asked him about it, he said his family had been doing that for years. The hole in the stump went down several feet to a void.

A couple years ago they decided to burn the stump in the winter. He said it burned for 6 days and burned out the majority of the roots all through the yard.

You are correct about this my work deals with a company in mass to get things stripped and re-chromed and I've been to the shop that it is done at it is a fairly large facility and it requires a lot of caustic chemicals to strip the pieces and prep them for chroming. A electrical charge is used when the pieces are being soaked in the chroming troughs to apply the chrome to them. The pieces are soaked for certain amounts of time depending on how thick a layer of chrome is being applied to the piece being chromed. It is a very expensive and time consuming process.

Ok there 13x8 or 8.5 . Not sure on what I have for money or if you are set up yet but I have a show in 2 weeks. So I may just re- spray them for now and have them powder coated later.

Wheels are off the car I measured them.13x8 fronts 13x8.5 rear , I thought the guy I bought them from said they were 7 and 8 but then the other day he said 8.5. So I guess I remembered wrong.

But either way rears are to big , thanks anyway.
