yep 12 is wastegate setting, glad i installed the adjustable fpr before the dyno, half tun adj. from 12 - 18psi to keep it in the zone, drives much better, the automatic took some figuring out.

Yeah it was pretty neat being at a dyno that didn't result in disaster and cost me a bunch of money, lol.

Congrats on breaking the 200 mark, stock internals and IM that's pretty impressive. What turbo was it on? Just a ching chong meow ebay one right?

Certainly feels pretty quick once the lean spot goes away, I'd be interested in doing a quick pull vs my truck, maybe at the track come spring.

I broke the 200hp mark on the last pass, adding the new airfilter and hose to the turbo must have smoothed out the flow just enough to help, went from 194hp to 205.

Not bad for an almost 22 year old 2.3 litre, 8 valve engine with stock cam. (factory @8psi 160bhp @ crank)

Next time i will have the AFM moved to the intake side where it can feel cool air and far less turbulent flow, i think that's what's hurting me right now.

I'm very happy with these numbers, for today.

wastegate setting of 12psi max, 163.92hp and 201lb/tq, open turbo inlet

high boost pump gas 18.1psi max, 205.70hp and 234.69lb/tq, filtered inlet
Where are said photos and video of dyno time? Matty, you are slacking again. Shame, shame

Redid the intercooler, removed the tank and welded on the pipe so it's more of a cross flow design and sectioned the cold side to move the AMM later on.

                  Old setup

That short piece of pipe is where the AMM is going to be in the future, right? Either way looks awesome. Good work as usual.

yes, the AMM will be in that section, prolly 3-4 feet of wire needed, as always it takes way longer to do something than you think in your mind, figured i'd have it wired and all done but by 530 i was finishing up reworking the tank and install. i'm happy with how it went though, used some of the couplers you bartered with me, and i will be replacing the volvo hose clamps with t-bolts tomorow, i had just enough with me to get it home from Custom Autobody's shop, it was a good day even though it started out kind of sucky.

Yeah those t-bolt clamps are surprisingly good for how inexpensive they were. Same with the quality of the silicone and stuff, ran them on the Focus and the SQ with no issues. Tested to 20psi on the focus.

chinese knock off's, i figured if one fails i will have one left to prevent surge issues. they don't work well, they are open at idle and bleed off some of the metered air, at light throttle i think they open causing surging, thinkin about switching to singe SSQV or Tial type, i just like the hard line setup i built, gonna try stretching the springs first, if that doesn' help i'm canning them.

cylinder #4 doesn't seem to like fuel very much, swapped out the injector and it really didn't make any difference, cleaned the ground wires to no improvement, need the Led tester to see if it's a crap signal or something else. Really bummed out right now.
