Different dyno's/dyno brands read differently. Numbers don't matter. It's just a tuning tool. The track is where you find out how much power your car makes.

Being that this is a vendor section I think it should be up to GSD if they want to have a question and answer type of thread like this .

Here is a quote on dyno's from the man himself

To date, the only one that shows reputable results with zero flaws has been the DynoJet. It shows a real world power rating (proven by many factory cars being dyno'd and showing the appropriate retrain loss) and the fact its a global dyno. It's software and firmware and weather station is so accurate, you can dyno your car in AbuDabi, bring it to New England, and it'll make the same number. No other dyno company can say that. All others measure power through adjustable equations and user definable variables. Hence why you see mustang graphs with 1.2 correction factors. You want an extra 50whp, no problem. I can change one number on a mustang dyno and look like a hero. An FP red can make 800whp on pump on a mustang if you want. EVERY shop who does not own a DynoJet compares their numbers to a DynoJet.

DynoJet, mustang, dyno dynamics, dynapack, land and sea and dynocom are the brand names .

Besides, this makes us the ONLY DynoJet AWD facility in New England. Especially with the Linx system, which is MUCH nicer to center diffs then an in linked dyno!!

Most of the time a mustang dyno (just the brand name nothing to do with Ford) reads lower then most dyno's. So when people say I dyno'd ###whp on a mustang dyno there just insinuating that it would have more power if they used a different dyno.

Wow. I guess I should check my own section from time to time. Sorry bud, totally missed this thread lol.

            They answered it already basically.
Mustang is a brand name. They generally read a little lower.
DynaPack, Dyno Dynamics, DynoCom, Land and Sea, Super Flow, etc are also all brand names. every one of them reads differently. The main reason for us choosing the DynoJet was due to consistency from one DynoJet to another. They generally don't vary more then 2% from any one DynoJet.

Haha, she should be fine. Coming up on 2,000 miles since the rebuild and she has been running great . Not running as rich as it was and check engine light won't come on unless I romp on it .

                        But still nervous..lol
