Do centercaps and trim/beauty rings need to be removed before dynoing?

Nope, you should be good to go, unless they're super loose already.

I've tuned Pro-EFI, but not piggy backed. That would be a first for me. Jason @ Pro-EFI is more then happy to help if it doesn't pass inspection for any reason.

are you able to put a load on the dyno or is it inertia style? My wagon doesn't like it when i step on it quick, it goes into a mega lean spike before the computer can compensate with fuel, not sure if it's the position of the amm or not. That's the only thing holding me from the dyno right now, not sure how to get around that issue

the amm is between the turbo and intercooler
1993 Cadillac CST-V8 rear mount turbo, 12psi 10.56@123mph and burning up the ozone
                              1995 Volvo 850 T5-R, 18psi with flashed ecu and bigger injectors, 315whp
1973 Chevy Nova with a Volvo B230FT and 4L60E, seriously different.
1994 Volvo 945, soon to be faster on 15psi

Not sure how that car is supposed to be setup, but most of the time the MAF is before the compressor. A blow through setup needs to have the transfer function adjusted to compensate for fuel trims and WOT fueling. Also, make sure you FPR is rises when you whack it. Sounds like its the MAF though.

As for the dyno, its not eddy current, but in your case what I would do is just start at 1500, and slowly roll into it, when your full throttle, we start to sample the run. You accelerate as fast or slow as you want. It's a 3000 lb drum, so it takes a bit to get it sped up anyway.
