You'll be fine. If it hasn't blown up on the street driving it all out, it won't get hurt on the dyno. Plus we have a wideband we'll be using to keep a real close eye on things with.

if you had the option to upgrade your supra rear diff ear mounts, rear mounts and subframe mounts would you have the all solid billet aluminium or poly or stock and why? also at what piont is it worth doing

I would do as much polly as possible, and do new OEM in the others. Avoid the solid ear and solid subframe bushings. You will hear the rearend reverberate through the whole car. I've done both, and to be honest, unless you're making 1000+ and use it, there's no need for the solid stuff.
I replaced all my suspension pieces with polly, and all the other stuff with new stock. Could not be happier.

So i know I bought this up before. Recently picked up a 240sx with a simple turbo set up. Afr were checked with a wb02, but it currently does not have one anymore, and were I believe 12.5. Now with installation of a new wb02 in the future, I need something to safely tune with. What program would you recommend? I do plan on taking it to you guys no questions asked. Only because Alex bought my old da and its funny to talk about. Seriously though what program would you recommend? I have heard mixed reviews on nistune, and aem is out of my budget. I plan on going aem though once I go LSx powered.

                    Thanks,
                    Mike

Why would you go stand alone with an Ls1? The stock computer and hp tuners is honstly easier and better to tune on than most standalones. Mostly due to how hp tuners handles its log files and doesnt require excel to really make sense of them.

Most real-deal standalones have better logging then the stock PCM. It gets bogged down and the sample rate slows way down if you're trying to do more then the default parameters. But on the opposite side of that, I personally would run a stock LS PCM over a standalone unless the motor was way over the top with power and parts. Go to a 3 bar speed density setup for the big power stuff and call it done.

For a stock KA there's only so much you can do without breaking the bank. If it were mine, and it's just a simple turbo setup, I'd strap an S-AFC to it and pull a few degrees with the dizzy. Data log it as best as you can with techtom or other OBD1 scan tool, or do a few pulls with knock ears to make sure it's not rattling the cylinder. If you are planning a big turbo, push the limit type power on the KA, then your safest choice is to bite the bullet and put a standalone in it.

There's not a pnp mega squirt kit for Ka 240's? Becaus ethen you're not really biting the bullet. I've been against MS in the past until I used tuner studio once. It has to be one of the best stand alone software I've seen, though I didnt get around to running any logs to see if it could make histograms. It just gives you so much more control than I'm used to seeing on a hydra, haltech, or aem, like yes I'd like to run a 4 cylinder odd fire 2 stroke with blended alpha-n/SD/maf, 8 bar, with traction control, closed loop knock, and rally anti-lag. Maybe that's too much control for some people.

Believe it or not, most standalone's can do all that. Some you just have to re-work the hardware (which you have to do anyway with MS), and like you said, it's more then the average person needs or even wants so most of the developers don't let you use it all at once lol
