oh btw...the stock suspension is surprisingly decent. I use to take that car onto onramps at like 80 mph with zero tire squeel or drama. lol. It absorbs bumps like a champ and it has decent dampening for stock garbage suspension.

Scott, let me know what the car weighs in at when youre done. Im dying to know how light you get it.

Update .

Waiting on a few things . Two front fender a bumber filler and new Rad . When removing the AC we notice the Rad was rotting out. No need to take the chance of it leaking and ruining the day .

We also had a issue with starting . I pulled the car off the Dizzy and it was full of crud. Plus the rotor was bad . The screw hole that holds the rotor on was ovaled allowing the timing to be all over the place. New rotor and cap just arrived . Let go see if that fixes my problem


BTW - For those with Inspection licences . What are the rules about removing the dash ?? it will be replaced with a sheet metal one when the time comes . But I would like to register the car to take it to events easier.

Well Rad is in .. Will will be slapping the fenders on today.

I lucked out as well. I forgot I had a set of Dunlop Graspics upstairs in the loft for the Miata that will fit the Civic since the Miata wont see winters anymore .

The older civics have always made great platforms before they switched andover and took away the double wishbone suspension .
