    I'm sorry, but my knowledge of 4 bangers is quite low, but I dont know of many STOCK 4 bangers that will make my stang "look like nothing in the 1/4 mile". I know a modded one can, but a modded stang can do just the same. I'd like to race your "STOCK" car

        What does your stock car do for 1/4 mile. When I say stock, I mean stock, as you worded it in your comment that your stock car will demolish mine.

        I just dont know of many stock 4 bangers that will immediately run mid 13's. Modded of course they can, but stock.....

          So modding 4cyl to keep up with an 8cyl is wrong? Anybody can mod a car dude your right, but spending 40k on a ****ing mustang for that engine, when you can spend 5k on a decent AWD DSM and spend a total of 500 dollars after that for a turbo and a boost controller and destroy your 60k car soooo 5.5k for a car thats faster than a 40k car? Hmmm...we are talking about speed here though right, although I prefer the look of a DSM to a stang any day, hey thats me! Oh ya racing me when I get me #!#!#!#! right would be a waist of your time, and gas, and in your situation a high risk for a speeding ticket, you obviously are always so worried of getting all the time!

            Firstly, the car cost 26k.

            Secondly, this "argument" has been going to for the past 20 years. I prefer an American v8, you prefer an imported 4 banger. I prefer a whippled 4.6 V8 to anything that has 4 cylinders, but thats me.

            For 60k, I'd get a used z06. Now, why not drop the ls7 in your little import? I'd drive that

              Everybody knows youre comparing apples to oranges and this argument can go on forever =P
              4 or 8 cylinders, turbo or s/c, import or domestic, everybodys got a preference and theres always somebody faster than you out there.
              So why argue?!?

                  My dad spent about 60k on his car, and I dont dare call it slow.

                  11.8 @ 122 is quite brisk. Not bad for a 100% stock car

                    Once my brother tunes his car when hes done being lazy he will run exaclty that, and his car is a total of about 15k with everything put into it. IMHO I think its way better than your dads car and I would rather drive it than your dads car also. So He paid 45k Less than your dad for a faster car and IMHO a better looking car...haha!

                      Thats were we differ, and where the argument lies. There are people who prefer American, and there are people who prefer imports. Personally, I hate the way an import (japan) looks and sounds, but thats me. Its probably the other way around with you, but thats the way it will always be.

                        No I just hate domestics because you think you can take everything including an F22 Raptor. You are definitely not a car guy if you dont like the sound of a turboback exhaust under boost thats externally dumped with the spool of a turbo!!! i actually don't mind the sound of some american muscle!

                          Ok sooo hmmm lets see..... I get a old 4 cylinder fox body for 500 bucks with a blown motor.... then I go grab a 351 windsor out of a junkyard or a swap for cheap money, spend 1500-2000 having a shop punch it out to a 393 then hmmm 400-500 on a nitrous kit and look at that 500-600 horse retard that spins tires imports arnt the only cheap cars and you dont want to start comparing used cars to new cars

                          And oh look at this
                          Eclipse comes in four trim levels: $16,185 RS, $18,345 GS, $23,645 GS-T and $26,995 GSX.
                          ................................................
                          What your car would have cost new = the same price he paid for the mustang GT and thats not even factoring in inflation and a stock 05+ mustang GT will run 13s
                          So the whole used car to new car this is not even worth arguing over

                          And to the mustang owner who doesn't fear 4 cylinders.....
                          there are a few 3 letter cars you should worry about SRT STI and EVO
