                  Here is the story.

I bought it cheap 11k with close to 80k. The previous owner flips cars, every summer he buys a sports car at the auction to drive and then sell in the fall. He purchased my car from a dealer that took it in trade with a blown ringland. He decided that he would rebuild the motor and be all set. He then took the motor apart and did a basic rebuild. Replaced bad valves, all seals and gaskets replaced the bad pistons 2 of them bearings so, machined the heads. Once he put it together he couldnt spin the motor, so he bought a used block from a friend, and reassembled the bottom end. He then put it back together, and drove it for less than a month, when he started having an issue with it, he thought it was a ringland.

I saw the post on craigslist and decided to get it. I took out a loan a bit more planning to build a bottom end and be done with it. After buying the rods pistons crank and bearings, and taking out the motor I realized that the problem was the heads and to top it off the turbo was blown. A friend of mine sold me a set of 07 heads (bigger ports), an FP HTA Green, and 850cc injctors . Then I figured might as well throw in a set of cams and springs. when i called to order the guy offered me a set of coil overs at a price i couldnt pass up. And I got the hood and trunk. A few months later my girlfriend crashes the car and i got the JDM fenders and some body work done.

My friend Manny helping me instal the coil overs.

motor getting ready to come out

                  Motor out

                  Me taking off the flywheel

                  Long block eagerly waiting

New motor ready to go in

                  Almost ready

I still havent ran it at the track, and am yet to dyno it. im honestly not done just a kind of a financial stand still as far as mods go. I plan on getting headers, ewg, fuel rails and regulator, and sway bars soon. then ill be ready to go for a full tune. Currently im only pushing 18psi, i want to run at least 23.

The now picture was taken at the moore reservoir on the kanc cruise.

                            Thanks
yeah it was quite a bit of work i had to do. I did most of it with some help from friends. the only thing i had done was the bottom end assembly, i took it to the machine shop to get done, otherwise it was alot of labor, pizza and beer. We actually assembled the long block in the basement and had to carry it up a flight of stairs.
