    New Guy from Attleboro/Boston

    Hey,

Ive know about your forum for a bit and have lurked around a while, but finally remember to join up lol.

I am from Attleboro MA, but I am currently living in Boston while i am at school/on co-op at Northeastern university.

I still drive my first car, a 1995 Honda Civic EX. I have put a lot into it, and have done all the work on it my self short of the body work.

    here are some mods:

    Fun Stuff:

-Rebuilt D16z6 block with Eagle rods and Vitara pistions, new bearings, seals, oil pump, water pump, timing belt
    -Stock top end for now
-rebuilt trans mission with carbon coated syncros, new bearings and seals, and an OBX LSD
    -Action Clutch 2MS
    -Garrett T3/T4 57 trim .63 a/r Turbo
    -ebay cast manifold for now
    -Turbonetics Deltagate Wastegate
-2.5 inch DP to 3 inch resonated exhaust with summit racing turbo style muffler
    -2.5 inch intercooler and piping
-DSM cleaned and flowed 450 cc injectors
    -Turbo XS Type H-RFL BOV
-I'm sure there's more in the category but that's the main stuff

    Look good stuff:

-New paint, same color, OEM Paradise blue green pearl last summer, its already rusting in the rear quarter panels, I shouldn't have cheeped out...
-Tein S-Tech springs with KYB shocks
-2000 civic si wheels, I just sanded them down and polished the face, and painted the area in between the spokes. yokohoma S.Drive tires

As you can see, my lists are a little un-equal, I like the mechanical stuff, i love building engines and doing what ever I can to make it go faster, spool sooner, run smoother.

I tuned the whole set up myself on crome pro, with hulog, ostrich and a innovate LC-1. Currently i have the boost controller set at 15 psi, it pulls pretty good, but right now the limiting factor is my injectors, i have them maxed out...

I haven't dynoed anything since I have been street tuning myself, so no official number but i would put it at ~275 based on the injectors. I also don't have any good time slips because i all but destroyed my trans the last time i went to the track, and havent had a chance to go back with the new trans.

Well, enough talk, on to the pics: (sorry they are so small, that's the biggest i could go on another forum)

Let me know what you think! Ill hopefully see a few of you at the kanc cruise this week end, this will be my third one!

lol yeah, thats what i was going for, i purposely didn't cut out the grill for the inter cooler, you cant tell its turboe'd while driving around cause the turbo doesn't spool till 4k or so, although once i get on it and the WG opens up, its a straight dump under the far left side of the engine so it gets loud, and the BOV is not very quite.

I already get bagged on by the cops for driving a civic, hell even if it was bone stock the cops in my town would give me hell. thank fully the exhaust is quiet and there is only one cop in my town that would pull me over for it.

yes, yes we will get a long. Loved my turbo'd til it got stolen. Good setup, but if theres anything Ill tell you, its get rid of that ebay manifold now and sport for a decent one, Revhard makes a good cast iron, but tubular is the way to go. I say that because I had a few problems with my mani and had to get a new one. But love the car, hate the color hope to see you this weekend man

yeah the manifold is temporary, but since it is cast iron it hasn't had any problems yet, but along with my head upgrades planed i am also going to get a new manifold and dp. and yeah the color it came in wasn't my favorite, but it grew on me, and i like it just because you don't see so many of these color modded.

                              Planned mods are:
                              aftermarket IM
                              Larger TB
                              850 or 1000 cc injectors
                              Port and polish
                              springs
                              valves
                              retainers
                              cam (zex, crower, bisi)
New manifold (ramhorn or mini ram)
                              3 inch Dp

I want to turn up the boost after this, and hopefully hit 400 hp.

I heard of awhile ago just never signed up, but this is the third kanc cruise and i got a link to the forum so i signed up.

Thanks for the welcomes and all the comments on my car!
