yup, its sad but true that "domestic" cars seem to be exempt from being messed with by cops.

i've been pulled over doing triple the limit before....you read that right....and been let off with a "dont let me catch you doing that again" i was fully ready to go to jail that day, literally shaking in my car couldnt even get my license out of my wallet. try that in an Evo, STi, or Honda and tell me how it works out for you, that is just one of the many reasons i dont agree with how 90% of cops do things.

I'm a cop. Have a ****ing problem? Try a ****ing exhaust silencer. You drive a car that you know is illegally modified, but you have a problem with suffering the consequences? Really? I mean, if the cops were being *******s beyond giving you the tickets for what you know you did wrong, then call their boss. You do have that right. Otherwise, suck it up.

You're a ****ing retard. There aren't enough cops to have them sitting on every corner in order to see and respond to every single crime. A crime occurs and then they will go there. If they take a little while, it's because you're not the only person who is having a problem, or you're problem isn't an emergency and what they are currently responding to is. And if you want to take up arms against a cop, how about you come do it in my jurisdiction. I'm far better armed than the city cops and therefor better able to defend myself against you're stupidity.

In general, we all know that driving a modded car is illegal. My personal theory on it, is I don't give a **** about modded cars (because I love em and drive them myself) or small speeding (on a highway, I think 75-80 is safe, but on a populated road, no more than 5-10 over depending on the kind of road, but this is all at officer discretion). However, if you're driving like an asshat, you're going to get pulled over and cited for everything because you're endangering others.

Too many people get pissed about cops doing their jobs. YEs, I agree sometimes some of them go too far. If you dealt with the scum of the earth for a living, you'd be in a different state of mind too. I've been doing this job since November and I've realized that in order to avoid that mindset, you just need to take the good with the bad, and press on. Unfortunately, a lot of cops will deal with #!#!#!#! head ricers, and those bad experiences will cause them to treat everyone in a modified import like they're a #!#!#!#! head ricer, it's not right, but it's what happens.

Now in a situation like Jess', with this officer murphy character, I have no explanation other than he probably gets a hard on treating someone like that. He shouldn't have a job IMO. My goal when I become a civilian cop is to move my way up the chain of command and fix #!#!#!#! like that. People shouldn't hate those that are there to "protect and serve" and that's what a cops job is. Nothing more, nothing less.

If you guys get legal issues with tickets and #!#!#!#!, I'm willing to try and advise you of what you can do. I'm a military cop, but I enforce both civilian and military law. I'm always willing to listen and as long as you don't bull#!#!#!#! me, I can try to give you advice and maybe even help you other ways.

On a more friendly note, Dave @ Sal's feels bad about not letting you guys hang out there because he knows pretty much everyone on here is chill and somewhat responsible. The problem is if some retards roll up in there and start problems (fights, trash, rekless op, etc.), then there may be consequences to him because it is his property and he is technically responsible. That being said, if you all go there to grab food, you can chill there as long as you're not preventing other customers from doing the same thing. I don't think there would be a problem with that, but IMO, parking legally on Elm St. might be the safest bet in the end and result in the least amount of issues.

^first, its reckless* not rekless...secondly....you are a MP right? (Military police) Which is totally different then a manchester PD or a town cop...I know several people that were MP's in the Army (not airforce) but it is definetly much different being out on the street being in a lot more critical danger then what you face (on base, not obviously in war scenarios)

fact...manchester fire has been getting called to more and more calls that have nothing to do with fire or EMS because a civilian calls for an officer and they are told he/she will be there and they never show so the civilians call the fire department.

the fire department on the other hand will show up everytime they get called which leaves a positive relationship with the person that called.

but how about we try and find a place to hangout instead of this crap? or maybe start a new thread for it
