I know this thread is quite old, but has anybody confirmed that this is a law or not? .I thought this was the land of "Live free or die"

Are you sure this has been passed?

Doesn't matter to me as I ALWAYS wear my belt, just wondering for friends who ride with me. Some wont buckle up if I ask them, so, I take of TSC, and dump the clutch, 99% of them buckle up after that.

That really funny because as of right now seat belts are not required to be in you car for inspection, they could all be pilled up in the back seat and you cant fail them for it!
