New New Hampshire Seat Belt Law...read It!!!

as of today, the house passed a new seat belt law. requires EVERY SINGLE PERSON to wear a seat belt whether or 5 or 105...and they can now pull you over just for no seat belt they don't need any other reason. 50 for the first offense and 100 for the second offense. it barely made it, but it did, luckily i always wear my seat belt and you'd be a dumbass not too...but thats just my .02

ya.. i feal like thats a good thing.. but what about live free or die ? next thing thats gonna change is the helmet law on bikes

yeah well i know plenty of dip #!#!#!#!s out there that have taken spills on bikes, doesnt mean im friends with them or like them but helmet mandatory laws would be good despite what people think. and i guess i jumped to conclusion on the seat belt thing, the house has passed it but its now going to be presented elsewhere, if it wins its official but people believe it pretty much will.

i was under the impression that this has been a law for a while...

not that it matters. after the #!#!#!#! ive seen, i always wear the seat belt. no one is too cool for it or any of that bull.

Maine has had this law for like ever but I dont think they can pull you over for not whearing it anymore.

nah it was only a law so far if you were under the age of 18, and yes a seat belt all the time is recomended...haha i'd be dead actually today if i never wore one at one specific time...eclipse 0-tree 1

This has no effect on me. I have always and always will wear my seatbelt, as will all passengers in my car. I don't drive unless their seatbelt is on.

very true.. if i had a bike 99% of the time it would be on.. but if im at hampton or something it would be off..

I always wear my seatbelt but...
When I flipped off 93 my seat broke off its brackets, therefore snapping me through the seatbelt and dumping me in the back seat. I suppose I would have been out the window without it but...uhhh...I dont know what the point was but its seatbelt related =P

Umm not having any sales tax premotes people driving over the border to do their shoping with the idea that they will save soo much money by not being taxed.. but they will still get taxed on their food, tolled on the roads.. and if they live here ****ed with property taxes
