ya i hit 52 but didnt clock me for the speed and rich there was rice about 400 to 500 hundred yards ahead of me but he was way gone when i left dunkins did anyone see a rabbit cause thats what the cop said i was racing and he had his blues on before i was even near him there such d bags. im not payin crap manch cops can pound sand ya i got a heavy foot dont get me wrong but if i want to race ill go to the track.

Does it say road racing or street racing? Not sure if there is a diff. I got a ticket for road racing WITH NO OTHER CARS ON THE ROAD PERIOD. Well except the cop. Either way I fought it and won.


My story:

I had a bad exhaust because of an accident earlier in the day. I revved my engine when passing sully to show my friend how loud it was because he was going to look at it for me, not only that but there was no one in either lane but me and polise officer, why would I speed/spin my tires/mess around IN FRONT OF A COP. < that's what I used and it worked.

a race is a contest of speed and timing from one place to another. you don't have to have another person to get it. and it isnt the same RSA. wreckless is 265 79 racing is 265 75. totally different statutes, actually. racing is a violation with no minimum penalty (though they will charge something) and wreckless has a minimum fine of 500 dollars and a mandatory loss of license.

You are wrong ..... 265 75 is racing on highways witch I got last year.

265:75 Racing on Highways. –
I. No person shall drive any vehicle on a highway in any race, speed competition or contest, drag race or acceleration contest, test of physical endurance, exhibition of speed or acceleration, or for the purpose of making a speed record; and no person shall in any manner participate in any such race, competition, contest, test or exhibition.

I had mine dropped to a speed ticket 110 in a 55. $500 fine with half put on hold as long as I didn't get another ticket for 1 year.

I would go to court, talk to the prosecutor. Admit you were in the wrong... you were speeding and you except a fine for speeding but don't under stand Racing??? Discuss doing the defensive driving course or community service or something. If you got 2G I'll give you my Lawyer.

theres no "street racing" statute. 265 75 is what they will give you. kthx

They will give you wreckless driving/Op...it wasnt on a highway. trust me Ive gotten pulled over for it on D.W. highway, im going to go with shawn on this one....and my friend Vinny was racing on lowell road and his friend crashed and totalled his car. both got wreckless driving and loss of license for 60 days and a year probation. Shawn even clearly highlighted it in his post safety of the public shall be endangered, or upon a bet, wager, or race. You dont know everything because your brothers a "cop" k thanks baiiiiii

so did mine, and it was written up with the "racing on highway" statute.

RSA motha f*cking 265.75. they don't have a "road racing" rsa

brett. don't be a f*cking douche. im not saying this because my brother WAS a cop, im saying this because i can READ. with street racing, if its high speeds or heavy traffic they usually bump it up to wreckless, because its a mandatory loss of license. and they can also cite you for both if the cops a real douche. the JUDGE told me i was lucky he wasn't bumping it up to wreckless, because thats what he usually does. but me and dan "worked out" a deal with the prosecutor in court.
