The biggest hurdle to hosting a car show in a business lot is insurance. Businesses don't want the liability. If you host a show and benefit a charity like make a wish, lions club and others, you can usually use the charity's event insurance policy.

Carnutz in Newport host their Monday night cruise nights and the lions club sells refreshments, so they use the lions club insurance.

I bet Debbie at Make a Wish would be interested in this opportunity if we kept a donation bucket going each week. If not, I bet I could get the carnutz involved (since some usually attended Target anyway), but we'd have to collect for the Newport Lions Club which would be weird in Nashua.

Damn, the target cruise night was really the only "event" that I really went to, that others here go to also. I hope we can work something out, whether it's still at Target or another place some what close. I was already looking forward to the Target cruise starting up again I feel like if it gets moved though there will definitely be a lot less people or a different crowd of people. I was never on the "email list" for the target shows, I just had already known about them since I live so close. I'm really gonna have to make an effort to attend more events/meets this spring/summer.

There needs to be another one in the Fitchburg area, those always got huge turnouts, much bigger than Target. I try to hit the track every Friday so I never make it anyways.
