yea thats what i basically told justin. it fit, and had nice clean smooth runners inside,everything fit, nothing was off or had to be modified. the threads werent messed up or a difrent size...im happy.

some new pictures of whats done. i had to pick up a few fittings for the rail to extend the factory fuel line.


i still have to drain the oil,remove the exhaust manifold, and drop the oil pan. to add a new gasket and baffled oil pan. what else....still have to work on the extended wheel studs, not in a hurry right now, might upgrade front hubs to gsr's not shur. and i have the rear trailing arm bushings to do, add theses nice hardrace pieces i grabbed to replace the cracked ones....and i got a gauge bezel and a volt gauge to ad, dont know on the 2nd gauge...main power shutoff switch also to install,work somemore on my splitters. remove all the rusty brackets and bolts and nuts and refinish them...ahhh i dont have enough time to do all this, nor time in the day..lol but it will keep me busy over the next 3 months..

Looks good especially for the price paid. Question for you though which I always noticed but never asked as its not important, but its late, im bored, and curious. lol Did you paint the bay battleship gray when you swapped motor? I see a lot of drift cars with nice exterior and a clean battleship gray engine bay.

nope never touched it...the interior and the bays are painted the same without the metallic speckle.

Thats different, maybe it was certain years, or models? Odd question but atleast I know now. lol

not really diffrent. there all offset like that from all years. the frames are dipped in color sealer's that are a shade off from the exterior, and the bodies are painted after all the doors,fenders,hoods,trunks are added..

Joe I have VSM touchup paint in a little brush bottle if you want to match your bay.


Have you driven the car yet with new intake manifold and fuel rail? Notice any improvement or going to wait till next season?
