pretty much the idea, but i also want to get a bunch of footage and edit a short film with some tasteful tunes. idk just looking to experiment. but i cant believe i found this camera for 129.00 its thin and tiny. weighs nothing.

ive saw a bunch of diy's with the headrests. looked stout, but ide wonder because the seat backs move, will it create a shake in the picture. the only way to know is to try it. the mount was off an old ebay tripod.

But yea, that is a good idea. I know when I get my Roll Cage over the Winter (hopefully) I was planning on picking up one of those brackets but damn, they are a lot of money and now that I see how easy it is to fab one up I'm changing my mind.

Seat idea sounds good but I agree, wouldn't it shake like a bastard? I know I wouldn't want my $150 Camera flying around the cockpit during a Race lol

Joe, I also noticed your running one of those Trunk Bars? Who makes those? Are you using one of them instead of a Rear Strut Bar?

Nope, not the C-Pillar Bar, the one close to your hatch.

i make them. pretty basic. square aluminum tubbing,a few washers and longer grade a bolts.

just picked up a set of hard race buushings, over the mugen ones, these are solid rubber threw out. $85.00 shipped save me about $40.00

might get a little "jerky" mounted to the roll bar..metal/metal + no sound deadening


-also, you're going to SCRATCH the bar....you know thats a no-no in our current JDMworld
