it's a torque converter that slips more than factory moving the engine rpm up closer to the power band of the engine, 10psi plus meth will be just over 500 at the wheels i'm guessing
1993 Cadillac CST-V8 rear mount turbo, 12psi 10.56@123mph and burning up the ozone
      1995 Volvo 850 T5-R, 18psi with flashed ecu and bigger injectors, 315whp
1973 Chevy Nova with a Volvo B230FT and 4L60E, seriously different.
1994 Volvo 945, soon to be faster on 15psi

Glad you could make it rob. I'll post up the video of Mikes turbo focus I took for you a little later. I didn't end up taking much for vids/pictures at all, since one of the guys with Jason and Brian was videotaping every run.

It was cool to see everyone run, and have that many people show up in the winter. PS that mustang is ****ING LOUD! Things louder than the s10!

*EDIT* And I got my baseline numbers for comparison after the turbo build

        Low, as expected.
        123whp at 5200 rpms/128wtq at 4000 rpms.

it's a basline at least, i know a lot of people who just shrug it all off and say i'll do it at the end, it's cool to have numbers to back what you did up, on the way home i was uneasy at half throttle at 6psi, i didn't want to chance spinning out under full, hehe, that's what the track is for, i had a good time though.

Yeah, thats why I did it. Figure it'll make a good comparison for when the builds done

BTW it was def a good experience to see the guys at HTP tuning one of their products with very good results. And who'da thunk an AMSOIL stock replacement air filter would gain close to 10whp/wtq on an SVT Contour?

255 whp and 267 tq. Lower than I expected but after all, they're just numbers. MPH at the track is what matters to me in making power. That and what I can hang with on the highway. Once I get quicktime pro up and running I will edit down the first video I have of me spinning on the dyno lol. That and I gotta scan the chart.

damn sean, i expected a higher torque number, especially with what other people dyno. but either way, like you said, mph and what you can beat is all that matters.

have you done any ems or the throttle control yet? or is it the same setup as the summer?

Great Turnout today! Had about 30 people show up for the day. Glad you all could come. We will be making a compilation of the videos and posting individual run videos. Post up your dyno runs if you downloaded an electronic version from Pete.
