It runs. It's auto. Has remote start. It needs some work. I just dumped my money into buying the Jetta instead because I'd rather that for a daily (I'm a girl, I wanted a sunroof), if I had known I was gonna deal with all the drama of actually physically owning the Jetta I would've just fixed it. Ask [MENTION=10]Boosted Euro[/MENTION] exactly what it needs... Parts were like 5-7 hundred, but half that was brand new tires.

$700 to fix but that was with my cost on parts and me doing the work.

Front wheel bearings $20-30 each I think
Front sway bar endlink $18
All 4 spring/strut combos $90 each
4 tires , $60-70 each ,can't remember

That's what I would do, What it needs is

Driver wheel bearing
Driver endlink
Front driver spring
Coolant hose is.cracked and leaking,( happened after we stoped driving it. )
4 tires

Has common Taurus saggy but syndrome , had it when we got it . Caused by dead coils braking on the rear springs. That's why I would do 4 complete take offs but if your sticker guy will let it go they are fine .

2 series sedan, 9 series sedan, the 7 series sedans are fugly, when they came out with the 9 series they smoothed the lines a bit so it is more forgiving, and wagons are always cool

Did that with a buddies '81 Toyota corona. Actually made it a convertible truck. Thing was sick, 300ex fit right in the back and still could haul 5 people

G96, those saabs don't look too bad. The third one interests me. But how do they figure the turbo is blown? Lol to me that always seems like a cheap excuse for a blown motor. The first one would be sweet though... Lol

Also, when it comes to doing work on something, i'm not gonna be super interestedcuz if I had the spare money or time, id fix the MR2 lol but it depend on extent of work needed and cost of course. I don't mind spending a couple bucks and an afternoon on little stuff

Low pressure 9-5's have garret gt17. After 100k or so, they die. Everyone replaces them with aero td04 turbos and drive on forever. Everything you need to swap to the aero turbo is 300. Including the turbo.

Well if it is actually the turbo that is bad, that wouldn't be an issue. But i'm wondering if the car is just junk and he's just saying its the turbo
