    Bigger TV

    Description of what's wanted:

    looking to get a new TV, would like a giant one but would settle for anything bigger than 32" really. needs HDMI plugs. would prefer LED, or LCD but willing to do plasma or even projection(not old 3 foot thick ones)

    i figured that someone went out and got a new one on/around black friday and is looking to offload their old one.

      I have a sony SXRD 60" sitting in my basement. The optical block came bad due to a common defect so i got a 55" Bravia for free. You can ship the block itself to CT and a guy will rebuild it. Just has a slight green tint without it being fixed

              how much would you sell it for and how much would the repairs cost?

                  hmm... i have two 42" flatscreens... both basicly brand new.... i dont know if i could get rid of em though.... ill have to sit on it...

                      For the repairs im not sure. I bet with some poking around you could find it. Make an offer. Its too big to fit in my room so its just sitting unplugged in my basement

                              i did some searching, its pretty much not something youd want to take on yourself, so it would probably be something i send out and it doesnt look cheap. and ALOT of the replacement ones keep #!#!#!#!ting the bed too i guess

                                                  lol i know pretty much nothing about the TV. Circuit City put the wrong price tag on it so i got it for $1000 cheaper. I never noticed the green tint but my friend always did. I called Sony and they told me it was a defect, sent me the Bravia and i never looked back lol. Is $400 worth not knowing reliability. I can probably plug it in and take a video to show you what it looks like if you want. I really dont care if i dont sell it since i havent taken a loss on it yet lol
