I know a few members here have these so hopefully at the very least I can get some leads or pointers on these cars.


Id like to buy a turbo MR2, 5 spd with T tops. I see the prices on these cars are EVERYWHERE from 3-12 grand. Im looking on the lower end of the spectrum. I dont mind a fixer upper but it must run and drive well enough to drive around, the more stock the better. I would be daily driving it with minor bolt ons.

The only people I have seen on here with mr2s are me, chris (NHMR2) and the engineer. I haven't seen anyone else on here with one.

I dont think I'd buy one sight unseen, and definetely not interested in an n/a car or a swap project at this time. I want an original turbo car, that I can just buy, and drive while fixing small nuisances along the way

It is right now, I really like the car but it wont hold my attention forever lol. I'm just never happy with what I have lol.

So what's the boxter right now? Boxter DD , BMW DD , mr2 just doesn't fit. You need a Bens and an audi DD to complete the euro DD lineup ..lol then you mite as well get a vw too then you have a.car for every.day of the week.

Chris and I are going to look at one this week Tim down in Hampton. It's on craigslist. Been in storage for 5 years, and is not running. Could be a gem. I'll let you know if I jump on it or not. It's the rarest color that they made...if you're into that sort of thing.

The MR2OC is looking to be a good place to get one...if you don't mind shipping.
