I was thinking similar. I'm willing to bet you can find a junkyard 350 for cheap if you choose the right search on car-parts.com

i like the "go smaller".. a carb'd 350 makes what, anywhere from 170-230hp, the 4.8l is 285-295. i understand youre not looking for a project, lol, I JUST WANT THESE GONE

It was pulled out and stored in side then put in to truck that was going to be a off road project but lost interest and sold it and put back in side.

I just asked him, all he has right now are vortec and LS motors and all the carbed SBC's I know about that I could get my hands on are worth 43749238 times more than a plow truck.
