Description of what's wanted--
Im looker for a welder.. if its super cheap ill take whatever, but im pretty much just looking for a simple 115v MIG... I think i got myself a wheeler frame, now i just need other stuff.. i could use a reciprocating saw to hack stuff up to and a cut-off/grinder... and some pipe/material down the road. im not sure what size etc. yet.. If youve got stuff like this laying around, id be interested...

I'm thinking about picking this up for a starter mig. Just don't have the funds right now. A friend of mine uses it. Get the extended warranty at the time of purchase. There is a local store in Amherst NH. That's where I go to now instead of getting stuff online and waiting for shipping. Just spend the gas and shop for more stuff that I can imagine when I'm there.

Yep, already know about harbor freight.. lol my dad's been telling me to go there for a while.. I might go with them... im hoping someone might have a used one for dirt cheap though...

Ya, thats what ive heard.. but its all im really looking for.. lol i would like to at least have the basic two- one for current, other for wire speed, but meh.. if its all automatic it takes out the guesswork... im not doing any dagaz-quality welding.. just need it to work.. lol

I agree with this, except for the 220v TIG they sell, for the price it's really not a bad machine. I modified it to have a foot pedal and it works pretty well. Lots of people mod them to hell...they are pretty popular among hobbyist gunsmiths.

Thats actually what i would prefer for a model if price didnt matter.. I dunno if id give him two bones for a used one- brand new from northern it $310.00 to the door... BUT, i might consider it if he negotiates. id like to pick up an ol beater that works good, that all...
