    SOLD 2008 Evo X MR

    Vehicles for SALE
    Name: Coop

    Selling: 2008 Evo X MR

    Price: 20500

    Location (City, State): Lakes Region

    Means of Contact: PM here

Description: Selling my Phantom Black 2008 Evo X MR, ~85k on the clock. Car has been gone through top to bottom by myself and Jay at Synergy. New OEM ACD pump relocated to the trunk, trans flush and refilled with diaqueen, all diffs flushed and fluids replaced with redline, fresh oil change, cabin filter and air filter, fresh brake fluid also, all within the last 500 miles. Car is and always was bone stock with the exception of ISC coil overs and a generic stainless catback. Car is fitted with a set of nokian Hakka 7s, and it's a blast in the snow. Mechanically I'd say this car is a 9/10. The pass side wheels were curbed by the previous owner and are slightly bent, I noticed while they were on the balancer, and are you can feel a slight shake at highway speeds. Aside that issue this car is perfect mechanically; trans is smooth and fast as it should be, car pulls hard and runs like a top. Perfect daily driver here in New England.

Interior and body wise there are a few issues. The CD player just gave up the ghost, and the seats look like 80k mile Evo seats. There are a couple of dings and road chips on the body. No rust that I've found, and the car is quite clean underneath.

Willing to meet just about anywhere in NH for a PPI if the interested party would like. The guys at Synergy would be more than happy to vouch for it as well.

I'm asking $20500, this is below blue book and I think you'd be hard pressed to find one cheaper. I'll likley raise this price if I still have it in the spring. The only trades I would consider are an E46 or E36 M3 and cash, or a newer full size crew cab V8 or diesel truck. I am actively shopping for a truck so this may well end up at a dealer, where it will undoubtedly be priced higher. I have money to add for a truck, and don't have any interest in trading down for a truck.

How much money on top of a 95 M3 , interior is a little beat but may clean up. Drivers seat is pretty garbage though.. be perfect if you wanted a track car cause you'll just gut it anyway.
$3k worth of maintenance stuff recently .

I don't want to talk about my problems Shawn!

What was done for maintenance? Any sub frame reinforcement? Miles?

No subframe reinforcement, did do the uper strutmount reinforcement plates.

Rear trailing arm bushings: HD bushings with Turner MS limiter kit.

Pretty much the whole front end. New bmw control arms and bushings. Upper strut mounts and reinforcement plates, koni yellow struts. H&R race springs Bilstien sports in the rear.Bilstiens are not new though, they came out of my M3 .

Oem Sachs clutch with JB Lightweight aluminum FW. didn't buy it as the kit but pretty much this . http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-37...323325328.aspx So it's a stock un sprung disk with single mass FW w/replaceable friction surface . So much better then stock. Steel braided clutch line , UUC solid selector , B&M short shifter all done with the clutch. Can't remember if I did the slave or not, I think I did but I'll have to look through the pictures.

Starter was done with the clutch ,

Last winter HM Motorworks did fuel filter, aluminum thermostat housing and new thermostat, battery, New TB boot , crankcase line to TB , Window motor /regulator (used)

New alternator I think was the last thing . It has Turner MS brake setup on it crossdrilled/slotted rotors, hawk pads, Steel braided lines .Blue fluid. A couple of the lines are still stock cause I was afraid of stripping or braking them.

I almost forgot the heat doesn't work. Well it works but something in the door selection in the dash is broken and it only blows heat on passenger side of the windshield. HM replaced something but it didn't fix the issue. Haven't had the money to get it figured out and it's parked in the winter so the heat isn't that important..lol

Oh, and I'm not sure the mileage I don't drive it. 120-130,000 maybe? Clutch stuff was at around 100k . It's Jess's DD so it just goes back and forth to Nashua. I'd have to dig it out of the snow to see for sure.

Was just kind curious on what you would take with an M3 you liked . I doubt we would be able to swing a car loan at the moment. I haven't looked at what the car is worth these days, never really thought about selling it.

Honestly unless it was a mint example, or a well prepped track car, I'd be looking for 15k on top of an E36. Not saying your car isn't worth more than that, but for what I'd be looking to do, the more I'd need to put in the less I'd intend to pay up front.
