    '02 Infiniti G20 (6spd, vq35, 5lug ect ect,.)

    Name: Ben Spires
    Location (City, State): Manchester, NH
Means of Contact: PM on here or call/txt if you have my cell
    Description:

Yes, for those of you who know James, this was his old G20.. I've been driving it the past few weeks, and it's a little much with having Sam in the back, and Katie doesn't care for the ride.. Considering my car is the one we primarily drive (as her van doesn't do that well on gas), I regrettably am putting up the G20 for sale.. Most of you know that I had a white G20 not too long ago that got keyed.. Long story short, I loved the car, but didn't want to paint over the rust it had, and sold it.. Ever since James started talking about selling his G, I've been bugging him and bugging him.. Well, we finally worked out a deal, and I've been driving it since.. Now don't get me wrong- I in no way, shape or form would like to sell this car- it has great and reliable n/a power, handles amazing, has four doors and a decent amount of room, and in my eyes- is pretty sexy.. I'm trying to do the more responsible "dad" thing and sell the car to get something a bit more tame for the long trips with the family.. If the car doesn't sell for what I want for it, I'll slowly start making it a more family friendly car (i.e- make solid motor mounts rubber, get rid of the lightweight flighwheel for a more comfortable ride, install a/c components ect,.).. In my eyes I would rather someone enjoy it the way it sits- if i had the money i'd buy another car and keep this one forever.. Anywho- sorry for the book, I just wanted to let people know that this is a great and reliable daily driver that can also tackle track day and surprise people..

As of right now the car is the worlds first and only documented VQ35 G20 swap.. So it truly is one of a kind.

    Here are the mods:

    1) 06 Altima SE-R Engine with 57k when bought
    2) Maxima/Spec-V trans
    3) AAsco/Stillen Flywheel
    4) ACT HD660 Clutch (rated for 500 plus Tq)
    5) Solid Mounts
    6) All NEW srock brakes
    7) 5 lug swap
    8) 2005 18 inch G35 rims with new tires 235-35-18.
    9) Full 3 inch exhaust (one quieter muffler, and one louder straight thru style)
    10) BRAND NEW FACTORY FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS!
    11) IWP Intake spacers
    12) 350Z seats
    13) Prosport Gauges Installed on A pillar but not hooked up yet.

There are a few ods and ends to be tied up on the car, but the major thing it needs is a paint job.. All of the body work was done by one of our friends (removing all the key marks/small dings ect/fixing small rust spot) and it just needs to be shot in a booth to look great again.. The check engine light is on for an evap code and cruise control inoperable.. The ABS light is on for a sensor that needs to be replaced (i really hate ABS anyway so I don't care). The airbag light is on because the 350z seats didn't plug into the factory harness, and will need to be spliced in to get the light to go off again. The tach does work, but as the rpms climb, the revs are more and more inaccurate on the tach.. Speedo works fine as does the gas tank.. The gauges on the A pillar are Prosport Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, and Water temp (they all are installed be need to be connected to work).. There is an AEM wideband mounted to the steering colum (analog gauge works awesome for accurate reading without the digital numbers everywhere).. The stock temp sensor is not hooked up (dummy gauge)..

I think thats about all I can think of at the moment.. The car runs and drives great everyday, and never really gives me an issue. I really hate that I'm even considering selling the car as it puts a huge smile on my face literally everytime I drive it. It has the power when you need it, but gets good mileage when you drive it normal for daily use.. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. If you'd like a test drive I'd be happy to let you ride along- and if you get more interested, we can go from there..

The only real trades I'd be interested in are Maxima/Altima 2002+, Legacy/Impreza (non-turbo) 2000+, or possibly other "family" like cars/wagons/small suvs ect,. Here are the most recent pics I have of the car that James took a couple months ago.. Nothing has changed since..

Asking $5k (tons more invested, MANY MANY MANY man hours into this car)

Dang Ben, you just got this. And it seemed like a good compromise for a family car too, being 4 doors and all.

            Good luck!

I ridden in, and driven, this car.

If I had the money I would own it.

This is a great opportunity for someone!!

I know man- I really thought it would be the perfect family car.. If we didn't have Sam around now, it would not be for sale- thats for sure.

Thanks Steve, and I agree.. The cost to duplicate this car would be almost triple the asking price i'm sure..

If I had money for a project/weekend car I'd be all over this. Tons of torque in a FWD, exactly what I want, good luck with the sale Ben, I say sell the kid and keep this

If it doesn't sell for what I want for it- I'll think about making it a little less harsh as a daily (rubber mounts to be made somehow, maybe a stock flywheel instead of lightweight ect,.) we'll see.. i don't think anyone would ever appreciate this car as much as me or james will.. i've wanted one of these g20's since i was in highshool, and now that i have (in my eyes) the ultimate one- the timing sucks..
