It's time to face facts that I'm not going to be able to get this car done. I was counting on some income that isn't happening anytime soon, if ever; so it's time to let it go.
This is a 1976 Honda Accord. It's a 1.6 cvcc with a 5spd. VIN# Se-j1006991

That man's accord was thought to be the oldest still in existence. If you compare VIN numbers, mine is over 1000 cars older than his. My car also has 70,000 original miles.
This is a PROJECT. Currently, the head and carb are off the engine, as well as the full exhaust. It needs 1 exhaust valve replaced, but I intended to have the head fully serviced. I would recommend you do the same. All 4 bias ply tires are severly dry rotted, but they all hold air. The interior is incredibly dry rotted, and will need to be replaced.
Rust is fairly minimal considering it's age. The inside bottoms of both doors need repair, the bottom of the passenger front fender is rusted off, and the bottom of the rear hatch is soft. I've had it looked at by a couple different body guys and have been told the issues are all very repairable without too much issue.
Car has either been covered or indoors since I bought it.
This will be a great little gem for someone to do something awesome with. I just wish I could afford for that to be me.
