as for matty supra > GTR..... you clearly have never driven one. When you step it up from BENCH racer to actual racer you should try one out.... it will leave you stunned.

While I respect the GTR for what it has been able to accomplish, you may want to check out the Curtis Chen Time Attack Supra before you so quickly discount the Supra's track abilities. That said, much like Matty's admiration for Supra's may not motivated by racing, I stopped in to look at a GTR a while back...I was driving the Sup...the salesman asked me why I was looking at a GTR when I had a clean MKIV Supra....so, to each their own.


All that aside...

I thought the supra was beautiful for so long, while looking at pics in this thread and online the front end of these cars has become dated, I thought these cars would be timeless. The TRD bumper looks alright still.

quirk the maintenance is really not that bad. The 2012+ have the new GR6 transmission and its phenomenal. rotors last a good while if your not shredding the track every weekend on XP16's. and so on. regular maintenance could mostly be done by yourself (brakes, oil changes, diff fluid etc)so at that point its just part/fluid cost really. the trans fluid is rediculously expensive but at 30k switch to a willall or SSP trans fluid for significantly cheaper than the nissan fluid and youll have a better fluid that will last longer.

I just want Tim to sell the car for a few reasons

1 I want him off SF
2 he is a fan boy still love him tho
3 I cant wait to tell him how cute the GTR is
4 Going to msg him every day about driving a Automatic
5 If the supra isnt the car for Him (willing to bet Fear of a RWD car he is a honda kid after all) he really needs to sell it and move on

haha and the GTR is just something so different than a Supra its really not even fair to compare both cars. I have such a bad habit of building cars and selling them shortly after, but doing what makes me personally happy takes priority over keeping it "just because" I recently finished it. Even if I do regret selling the Supra I can always just buy another, and this time ill hold out for the color I really want.
