Car is in Litchfield, NH
PM here, or 603-566-3035
1972 Chevelle.
1,500 or bo.
The time has come to part with my first car. Ive realized Im never going to do anything with it, and my father has also decided the same. Its not doing anyone any good just sitting on the trailer behind the garage, so its time to say goodbye.
I pulled this car out of a local junkyard when I was 14. The yard was downsizing, and this was destined for the crusher. Me and my Dad pulled it out and got it home, thinking that it could be my first car. Well I had no money and it needed work. I put a nose off of another Chevelle we had on it, since the whole front end past the fenders was missing on it from the yard. I also pulled the interior out of it, although Im not sure it was even the correct interior. I still have everything I pulled out, didnt get rid of anything.
The car will need a complete resto. It is just a shell. From what I looked at years ago, the frame is solid, as are the floors. I seem to remember there being one very small spot on the rear floors that may need a patch, but nothing bad. The front fenders are rough behind the wheels, but repo fenders are easy to come by. Never really dove into the quarters, but they seem solid. Car has an SS Domed hood which my father had laying around. I bought a better shape trunk lid as well, will include that.
Car rolls around freely, wouldnt be a problem to load it onto a trailer or flatbed.
Make it into a drag car, restore it and make it a cruiser, the car is a blank canvas. Hell, put a 2jz in it.
Id like to get 1,500 for it. I doubt I will, so please make me an offer. There is a 70 SS shell on Craigslist right now for 2500, and it is in worse shape than mine. Just for reference.
