    Cam timing help

    Anybody out there have the degree wheel and indicator to do this and want to help me today so i can move forward on my engine, if i can degree the cam in then i'll have the engine together by the end of the day no problem. Anybody that can help would be great i'm in chester NH, message me on here and let me know, i'll buy you a case of beer for your help. Thanks

    autozone or some of those shops have rent/borrow programs you can utilize
    Now they will know why they are afraid of the dark. Now they will learn why they fear the night.

      not even sure i'm going to bother with it at this point, almost all of it is together, i think realisitcally it will just only tell me that insted of say 4 degrees advanced it's 3 -3.5 degrees, it's not at zero and doesn't need to be

        If you need to get it done, just set the cam straight up and run it. You'd need degree bushings anyway http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-4760/ to get it right.

          PK said that 2 - 2 1/2 degrees advance is good for a turbo motor, i checked my summit account and the cam gear set i purchased has the ability to advance it 2 degrees which is where it's been set since i put the engine together 2 years ago, i think i'm gonna button it up as is, make some stupid power and call it a day
