    Blow off valve question

I found an upgraded turbo to suit my needs for the volvo but now i need to get a bov for it, not sure what is good and what isn't, i'm running the Tial 50mm on the S10 but don't feel like spending 200+ for another when i'm not pushing the same power, what other brands/ valves work well, i was looking at the HKS ssqv. any help would be great.

The turbo is a Turbonetics H trim compressor wheel mated with a stage 1 turbine wheel and a .63 Volvo turbine housing
1993 Cadillac CST-V8 rear mount turbo, 12psi 10.56@123mph and burning up the ozone
    1995 Volvo 850 T5-R, 18psi with flashed ecu and bigger injectors, 315whp
1973 Chevy Nova with a Volvo B230FT and 4L60E, seriously different.
1994 Volvo 945, soon to be faster on 15psi

    Nice ,

As far as BOV . Those selling them on Ebay for round $150 is a steal if they are legit, that is cost on them . If I could match it I would , but my cost is $156+shipping .

Find a stock Evo 8 or 9 BOV, second gen DSM, or modify your stock one to take more pressure. Those are the cheapest/easiest ways. Unless you plan to run a lot more boost, odds are the stock one will actually work.

Another quick/cheap and functional option is the Samco BOV. It's VTA, small and cheap. Looks like a baby TiAL

I've got a Forge recirculation valve from my Mazda. Its got some extra springs and shims too. I forget what I was looking to get for it. It's in my fs thread though.

GReddy Type S is good u can get them between 80 to 140 depending where you look, 1G Talon/Eclipse/Laser's have solid blow off valves too I mean you would need to put her in a vise and crush it but it works.

there is a ton of them out there..

if you go with the evo bov be sure to get one from an MR so you get the metal one rather than the #!#!#!#!ty plastic one that leaks at 5psi. As for the dsm as alex said i believe he means a 1g valve. the 2g were plastic also and suck. i have a forge now and it holds boost fine for me.
