235/ 40 / 18 is lowest recommended for 9.5 inch wide tire on TireRack.
Pretty much a hate it or love it type thing.

See, that's not too bad of a stretch. Putting a 195 on a 10" wheel is obnoxious.

VW is a different scene I'll give them that. But IMO I think the Stretched tires.. Staggered fitment on FWD.. Poor suspension geometry and such with cars being slammed. Is just silly.

            But to his their own.

              x2

Roll the fenders, add flares, pull that #!#!#!#!, run some crazy camber....please dear god...anything but:

a 215 tire on a 11.5 inch rim in the REAR of a FWD car....LOL!

              and a 205 tire on a 10.5 inch rim on the front...sigh...

Personally, i like slammed cars and i like low offset wheels and aggressive stance...but not stretched tires. Ill take -8 degrees of camber over a massive stretch, all day!

i would take that camber with a stretched tire, that'd be the perfect combo to me

stretch is nice, not to much though, camber is nice but not to much, combine them and u have a bad ass combo, Its very popular in Greece, everyone with an older E30 style bmw or newer bmw and even fwd VW have it. Cars like the Skoda, and some other wierd ones look nasty with it too
