How does it not make sense. Sucks in air, fuel, and oil. Ignites, compresses, then pushes it out the exhaust ports. Overlaps a little too.

It's more like 2 ovals in an x pattern. that gives the center a sort of bulge inward. That little bulge is what makes it work.

if you get one, just dont ask questions, dump oil in daily, adjust TPS daily, if the PO says it was rebuilt dont trust them... actually, just dont get one, unless it has a third rotor
Racecar: 87 TII RX7: BNR Stage 4 turbo, RacingBeat REV turboback, RX7Store FMIC, RC 750cc P/S injectors, Apexi Power FC, Corksport AL Radiator, Corksport Turbo Intake Pipe, Corksport AFM adaptor, and Turbo XS RFL BOV
DD: 04 WRX hybrid build underway, stay tuned
I figured, "Ive already got a rotary, might as well go full retard!"

My cars have 2 or 4 rotors... 3 rotors just doesn't seem very safe , would make braking very unstable.

Andy, I like how you put that together. Just last night walking back to my car from the range.. I thought "Someone will make a joke about my gun and my rotors".... now.. someone did.

with rotaries there is less stuff to go wrong, but what can go wrong, almost always does...
