Mass inspection

I was wondering if anyone who lives in MA and has a lifted truck. I live in Saugus and at the moment I am looking for someone who will inspect my Jeep and overlook the lift I have. I see lifted trucks all over the place and someone has to inspect them, so if anyone knows who please let me know. If not I may have to move to NH sooner.

how big is it? you can lift a 4x4 there is a formula to figure out how high, then you can double it with tires

have you tried just going to a garage and asking if they would fail you for the lift?
Most inspectors will tell you up-front if they will fail you for things like tint/lift/exhaust.

It goes by how high you are usually. Like nh it's 30in from the middle of the bumper/frame. Technically you can't modify your suspension at all, just some inspectors or more hardass then others. Just ask around.

That's nh. Ma is different. There is a formula the registry uses that uses wheelbase and some other numbers to give you a number in inches that you can go up and you can double it with tires.

It is nothing like NH. You said it yourself in NH the law states no modifications. In MA its completly okay to install a lift

i ran the numbers and it came out to about 2 inches for a max lift. depending on how you measure it i have about 3.5 inches in the front and 4.5 in the rear. the thing is i still have maine plates and dont want to register in mass until i find a shop that will look the other way. i was hoping someone would know a "lift friendly" shop.

They measure to bottom of door so if the truck is under 4 inches total you could be okay
