Another thing to take into account is resale. What looks good to you may not look good to a potential buyer down the road. Thats why you see 'tricked out' cars sitting at side of the road lots forever. Some tasteful mods and a basically stock look will have a better chance at selling than a personalized vehicle. Also from my own sales experience if you want to trade it in youre going to take a hit for the same reason. The dealer will give you bottom dollar and either remove addons or sell it to an auction because they will have a hard time making money off it.

why dont you just do whatever you want to it. it is your car. obviously you bought it because YOU love it. impress yourself and not others. if there is something you like and want then do it. better to do it and enjoy it yourself than not have it the way that you would have liked it because other people didnt think it was cool

ya im changing the bowtie soon. its bothering me and will be taking off the stripes tom and i think im going to keep the center cap red not sure yet

Get a red bowtie, keep the red center caps and Red SS's and go strip-less. The subtle Red accents will be enough for it to stand out as being yours and not just another black colbolt... witch I believe is what you are looking for.

haha looks to me like you will have no problem being different..lol everyone seems to leave them stock looking. So you don't need to do allot to stand out.. Just the red badging, lower it... really expensive 3 piece wheels always makes you stand out...hahaha at least thats what the VW guys think. lol

lower it and lose the lights. other than that it looks cool. leave the stripes. they're different. and paint the centercaps black. too many red accents make it look cheap. just leave the stripes. keep everyting else black.

I sort of like the stripes... Although they would look better without the moon roof and if they covered the bumpers.


Personally I would have went with flat black stripes.

Is the spoiler even functional? I mean, you have to be retarted to ditch the spoiler on an STI or EVO, fully functional and proven on high speed runs. I dunno about this one though. However it is kind of the trophy piece of the car. I think it looks fine.

go with something aggressive. Flat black, some lip, wide rubber.
