i'm thinking of taking the Daytona stripes and the wing off my truck. what do you guys think. if i do it, the wing might go back on when it's painted the same color as the rest of the truck.
I say leave it alone.... I don't see anything wrong with it. Do you still have that yellow piece..... paint that, then leave the rest.
You ain't got no chance to beat it..like a man with no hands and a one inccchhhh .

82 Rabbit Diesel L custom - full GTI swap , built head lots of Poly

I think you should lower it, get some 24's, paint the centers to match the wing and stripes..... but if you don't go that way, just loose the wing.

I would leave it personally....gives the truck some character...those came factory right? If you take them off I think itd just look like a regular dodge 2500 or w/e

did you lower it at all? My brother has a 05 1500 4x4 and we lowered it 4 or 5 inches.

yes, i used McGaughy's 2" spindles and rear flip kit. i could lower the torsion bars a bit but i'd have to take the front half shafts out. i do plan on doing it but i need to find some rubber caps or something to cover the ends of the axle tubes.
My suggestion is to paint match the wing and have the same vinyls cut but get them done in body color. That way it doesn't stand out as much but it's still got the look and rarity of the Daytona model.
