syclones are awesome, i raced a kid in a typhoon once, i beat him cause his turbo was way too big for making power that low in the rpm range, but cool none the less, awd system, kinda finicky from what i've heard but still must have been awesome, i'd love to transplant the drive train into my truck, mmm... 500hp awd
1993 Cadillac CST-V8 rear mount turbo, 12psi 10.56@123mph and burning up the ozone
        1995 Volvo 850 T5-R, 18psi with flashed ecu and bigger injectors, 315whp
1973 Chevy Nova with a Volvo B230FT and 4L60E, seriously different.
1994 Volvo 945, soon to be faster on 15psi

I used to love the sylcones and typhoons. They we're the hottest thing in the late 90's for trucks, those and the Chevy SS454 full size. I saw a lot of mullets driving those trucks. ha

            (MOAR Pictures http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-...s-sport-wagon/

After speaking this morning with Cadillac's product communications manager, David Caldwell, we've fleshed out some near-term product plans for General Motors' luxury brand – in particular the timetable for the 2010 CTS Sport Wagon. The automaker's Lansing Grand River plant is scheduled to begin building the stylish rear-drive load lugger in early May, and the first examples should be at dealerships around Memorial Day (May 25), or perhaps early June.

Cadillac's first-ever U.S-market station wagon (no, the SRX crossover doesn't count) is expected to offer a reasonable 25 cubic feet of space beneath its rakish rear glass, and while it rides on the same 113.4-inch wheelbase as its sedan counterpart, the wagon will actually be .3-inches shorter. The model looks to be particularly important for GM's fortunes in Europe, where the luxury division is still struggling to gain traction against the entrenched domestics. While being something of a fringe interest in the U.S., sport wagons do solid business in Europe, and the overseas-only BLS Wagon has played largely to lukewarm reviews. Back home in the States, Cadillac expects just 20 percent of CTS customers to opt for the estate version, while the European model mix is slated to be more along the lines of a 60 percent/40 percent split in favor of the wagon.

So... what about the CTS Coupe? As we reported in January, the stylish two-door's production plans remain firm for next year, despite company-wide cutbacks and rumors to the contrary. While that's still later than Cadillac had originally hoped, officials say the delay will give them the opportunity to focus on launching the Sport Wagon as well as the 2010 SRX replacement. No official word on the likelihood of a CTS-V Coupe or Sport Wagon, but mules of the former have already been spotted, so perhaps we'll get lucky.

My Thoughts- Intresting that Cadillac is the one coming out with this (sportswagon/Luxwagon) you just dont see many wagons any more around here, I really dont know if it will sell well over Here, i just dont think the older crowd *our grandparents* will find any use in this, I could be wrong.....

But come onnnnnn they need the CTS-V version! 500HP in a WAGON! i mean DAN WOULD LOVE THAT!

Syclones and Typhoons are sick sick sick. I knew a kid that drove his dads typhoon around, he wouldn't let me drive it, but boooooy it was a sleeper..

GNX's are one of my dream cars

Ion redlines are pretty damn sick cars. When I worked at saturn I did a couple stage 2's which is supercharger pulley, injectors, and re-map, 11 psi iirc. Theres was a stage 3 that came into the shop with a pretty damn straight catless 2.75" exhaust that I rhode in that was pretty damn impressive. that engine is pretty damn strong from the factory and the car moves.

The Saturn Sky redline is pretty sick, same engine as the cobalt ss and ion redline but turbo and in a light ass plastic drop top. Runs 15 second 1/4 iirc, corners sick and stops like muffukka...

Saturn Vue redline came lowered with an engine from an acura MDX, good for over 200 hp, cant remember exactly, with a pretty nice awd system, although not as ggreat as acura awd system.

Chevy Cobalt SS, with an exhaust, k&n drop in filter and the little piece at the bottom of the airbox removed made iirc around 195hp to the wheels on the dyno at uti. Pretty damn impressive.

corvettes and andything with the same engine speak for themselves.

305 camaros blow... hard.. what is iit like 150-160 to the wheels? FAIL

I've built a couple 350's, cool if your happy with sub 400hp from a heavy ass iron pos. extremely played out. I helped build a 350 with cams, heads, supercharger at 6psi that came close to 500hp.

68 camaros are another one of my dream cars.

Chevy has done a lot rightif you can sift through the lot of their FAILS.. examples

                cavalier period
