While Chevy has changed their compact/midsize trucks at least 3 times in the past 15 years,the Frontier has been in CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION since 1998. Took a peek at some of the new bowties at the BIAS..
New Chevy SS looked like a mix of an impala and a G8.. which was expected. Looked good still especially with a V8 in it.. Bout time.. lol
Corvette..... sex on wheels.. except for those goddamned camaro taillights.. they looked horrible.. and I actually experienced what I feared would happen.. I came around the corner and actually thought it was a camaro. 100%... until I could see past the croud, then it was obvious.. lol
I hope some retrofits some circles or st least ovals in theirs just to show it still looks good...2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6MT

It was a pretty sad situation beforehand but after hearing this it just makes you pissed. (at least for me it did) I would imagine he tested (if he even did) his on a quiet suburban road somewhere so he didn't hit anything in case his experiment failed. What percentage of scenarios would that cover? 10%? What about people driving on a windy road? Near major intersections? Heavy highway traffic in the middle lane? Roads with no real pull off areas? Sharp downward grades? It's not the same as getting a flat and being able to slowly coast off. And the main point is it's not 1960. How many young adults who bought those cars have experience in a vehicle with manual brakes and no power steering? Anybody who has knows it's not the same experience, especially if it's all of sudden forced upon you. That was an extremely close minded and piss poor decision by them and I really hope they go down hard for this.
Rather than engineer the car correctly in the first place, or issue a recall at several points when the problem was known, General Motors engineers had this solution for Chevrolet Cobalt shutdowns: Just coast it safely off the road! Brilliant.
Altman insisted in his deposition that the flaw didn't put drivers at risk even when the airbags did not deploy, but with GM themselves admitting 12 deaths tied to that issue, it's probably fair to say that's not the case.
But the WSJ reports engineers believed the cars "could be safely coasted off the road after a stall," according to the court documents.[Altman] was responding to questions by an attorney representing the family of Brooke Melton, a Georgia woman killed in a crash of her Cobalt that suffered ignition failure while driving at about 55 miles an hour.
"We've sold vehicles for many, many years without power assist and the car was maneuverable and controllable," he said. "We've been through that several times, in fact, during this investigation looking at the car to make sure it still could be controlled."
[Ignition switch engineer Ray] DeGiorgio also testified that he bought a 2007 Cobalt for his son without "any hesitation that this issue potentially existed." He said that in advance of his April 2013 deposition, he tested the car, turning off the ignition while driving near his home. "As long as the vehicle can still be controlled…the vehicle is still safe," he said.
