i like the XV Crosstrek, someone up the street has this exact one with the orange/black that I would get. It has sh*t for power though if they put in a better engine by the time the Fit is ready to go it could be a good option.

Can we say what we'd like to see? A brz with a 2.5l turbo boxster and adjustible koni or tokico suspension, fatter tires, Less weighty crap, better seats and a bit more downforce.

But mostly the engine. The car handles like a dream from when i test drove one but its missing the accleration rate id expect. Responsive, but not enough power. About +50 with maybe +20 at each end of the band would be all itd need for a stock street car.


The car has awesome potential. Nissan, honda, VW, and chevy can all learn a lesson (and should) from it.

I would say the S2000 is superior to BRZ/FRS

I have yet to sit in a BRZ , But I like my FRS seats

but unfortunately isn't as practical. I think Honda really missed a great oppurtunity. With the revisions they did to the F22C1, a 2.2-2.4L I4 VTEC motor in a FR 2+2 sport hatch would have been a killer car.

Basically S2000 handling and performance with Civic space.

And this is coming from a guy who really doesn't like honda that much.

As for seats I was thinking like a club racer style bucket seat option. Straight from the factory, so no worries about having ABE compliant seats.

if I can find my little cousin in the back of a 944 with the sunroof motors, then I could fit him in the back of a BRZ, and the 944 rear seats were considered a bigger joke than the 964/930's. mainly because the distance between the roof and seat bottom was less than that of the average human (5'6") spine length.

But yes, useful for putting more useless #!#!#!#! in, which gives me more room for groceries without having to A. put them in somebodies lap and B. without having to grab them from the trunk (because some of us are lazy/efficent).

I'm also looking at this from the view of a single car ownership, since not all of us are in a position to have space for more than one car like I am.

However if you already have a daily driver, than yes the advantages of the BRZ are not important.

But I am giving it to your from a one car perceptive and have actually owned a S2000 for 4 years , a Miata and now the FRS But what do I know from Practical experience. Its my daily and only car i drive

You can put a kid back there if you want him to kick your back all day and destroy your interior. I drive fairly close and am only 5'6" and only have 6 inch behind the seat.

I at least put a pocket bike in my S2000 , Not so much with the FRS ..... .LOL

So endpoint is, if you buy a brz for practicality and performance...you're going to have a bad day. That's more like the WRX/STI area of expertise.
