Yeah the altimax are cheap and awesome. Had them on multiple cars.
My STi is still on summer federal tires. so far I've been ok. Just sideways, but ok. Lol

I always liked those Generals. This time I'm running Continental Extreme Winter Contact tires. So far in the one time I drove on snow, they've been great. Tire rack ranked them #1 in a comparison including Blizzaks which always seem to test well.
