Looking for shop to install/fabricate tow hitch

I'm thinking a vintage trailer might look sweet behind the REPU. Down the road, possibly a vintage track car (rotary of course)...

No online place sells a hitch for the Mazda REPU or Ford Courier. UHaul said they could make one if I went to Arizona. Sooo... could someone recommend a local place that could throw together a class III hitch for me? Either canibalize something off the shelf or just weld something custom to mount to the truck's frame.

Mazda did offer a bumper, but I doubt its worth paying to ship a rusty one from the west coast and having it restored...and I don't see anything online that could pass for an original 70's bumper.

Can't see it being to hard to make one , I think Dag may have mad the one on his volvo. He tows a camper with it. I know he is elbow deep in the SSMalibu at the moment, not sure how soon your looking for it.

Pretty much ASAP, or before May. I've already been poking around Craigslist for campers but I don't have access to anything with a tow hitch right now. I usually borrow my father's Avalanche but he took it to FL for two months (damn retirees!).

Yankee Custom Cap may be able to help you out with that as well if he is too busy.

i still have that hitch, i ended up buying a uhaul hitch made for the wagon, it was $50 shipped for the hitch, reciever and ball, i couldn't say no. I can modify the one i made to fit the Repu, it's going to be a couple weeks, My left eye is still healing from surgery so this week is out and i'd like to get the Malibu near complete before i start anything else. i've towed my 3500lb A frame trailer with it, 300lb tongue so it held up fine. it's just a lot a bit rusty that's the only thing, not flakey but just never painted.

So I got UHaul to install one. I assisted the guy, sort of. We tried a bunch they had in stock and finally settled on one for a dodge that bolts to the cross bar instead of using the bumper mounts. Haven't towed with it, but it feels pretty secure and pops out right below the license plate. $325 installed including harness, ball, and mount.
