The weight of the wagon is almost identical to the nova if it had the strait 6 all iron engine, so this will actually weigh a bit less overall than the wagon ~3100lbs it will be around 300 at the wheels with the current parts @18psi1993 Cadillac CST-V8 rear mount turbo, 12psi 10.56@123mph and burning up the ozone

Just the engine, too anxious to not do it. Plenty of room everywhere. I rested the engine in so its full weight was in the chassis, the front dropped less than an eighth of inch

Took a couple hours of finess but I was able to get the entire harness out of the car, only had to cut one string of wires, going to study up on the green book wiring diagrams and then go through and eliminate wires, this harness controls everything but the abs and ac. There are many wires not needed, a couple positives and grounds and splicing for the fuel pump and it should run. Well worth time to pull it all out without cutting.

And then this happened, boy some people are pissed! The lh2.4 seems pretty strait forward to wire up, eliminated some wires, I can't believe how well this fits in, the trans was a bit tight but its looking good. So long as the power steering pump fits its full steam ahead! Unorthodox ftmfw!!!!
I can't help but chuckle when I see the valve cover, it makes every bit of this project worth it just because I'm probably the only one in the world doing it.

a few more images that i wasn't able to move around from my phone.
This is machining aluminum using cheap router bits from R&R wholesale, just go slow and clamp it down good and the result is pretty damn nice.
Slight trimming of the transmission case to clear the starter motor, opposite side of a sbc
Engine and trans bolted up and slid in, bolt holes line up on the cross member, slid all the way back and removal of the cam mounted distributor is tight but easily doable.
