        Wednesday should work for me.

You have any more 3in aluminum to redo the intake ? I think we need to run it into the fender. Or cut it down and get a good box around it. My IAT's are almost the same as my coolant temps..lol. sunday my outside air gauge said 86 deg and my IAT was 130deg .

          Because topmount.

I'd look at boxing/shielding the turbo, too.

I'm reading before the top mount , so that's not even coming into play yet. That's just what I'm sucking into the intake. But I know my topmount isn't working well as it's always hot also. I had to remove my shroud because of my big top mount. So any air going into the scoop is just going over the IC and not through it. Thinking about throwing a fan on it. The IC is like 19x8x4 so if I can get the air to go through it, it should be fine.

I'm also looking at bagging the turbo .

Holy crap. Fix that. Otherwise, you're way over-working the intercooler. And... why bother reading air temps before the ic? Seems like a waste. Before ic is irrelevant for anything other than a maf.

That's the only reason I'm reading it... It's from the maf.

If I had 600 for a new scoop and shroud... I would fix it. Which is why I posted here trying to see if dag can do something with my stock one to make it work.

How big of a gap is there between the hood and IC?
Could you use foam/weatherstripping in the meantime to make 'er better?

pleez keep the banter out of vendors threads, this is for vendor/customer conversation only. If you wish to have your own job done by the vendor feel free to create a different thread. Thanks!
