    New bumper painted and installed?

    A little back story of what happened, my brother used my car, ripped my bumper off on accident, and I bought a new replacement bumper. Was waiting to buy paint for my dad to paint and install it, but then this winter, i hit a garage door, and demolished the bumper and lost half the hardware, and my fog light.

    My insurance company priced out a quote to repair the bumper, which totals to about $1000, minus my $500 deductible.

    As I have a new bumper, I'm looking for a shop who can work with me to paint and install the new bumper, (and fog lights I currently have), to help me save my $500 deductible, that I don't have.

    The insurance company would write a check to me and the shop, and after talking to Andy, (zoom6) he said to tlk to you guys, and see if you'll be able to help.

                          I did the same thing with my R , insurance gave me $800 for a OEM bumper . I bought a aftermarket bumper for $300 and had it painted for less then the price of the OEM bumper. You should be able to get that bumper painted for under $500 as long as it's a decent bumper and not that flexing rubber crap.

                              Did you install yourself? I thought 500 is kind of tight to get it painted, accessories installed and then fitted to the car w/ hardware...

                                  Yea, I installed it my self. Just brought them the bumper and picked up a day or to later. I did say "get it painted for under $500". Not installed..lol I would bother paying someone to install a bumper, but that's me.

                                  But like I said it was a quality abs bumper and it came with the hardware for installation. Reiger RS4 bumper for a mk4 , it did require some customizing since it was a R32 , but was no biggy
