    The little sno-thro that could

My 1964 Ariens Sno-thro, the 5hp engine was a bit weak for that last foot of snow that got dumped on us so i picked up a 8hp unit, with a little finess i swapped it in.

The front snow blower assembly is in my car, i have to do a bit of welding on the auger case. This machine has what i call the dead mans lever, it's either in or out, wheels and auger are on one drive, the clutch opperates like a car, pull in to shift, let out to move forward, there are no safety mechanisms of any type, I love it! It's a mans machine, respect.

Moved the 10 inches of heavy wet snow with no problem, just need chains on the tires
