got sick of the plastic so i pulled it all off

6 inch pusher fan at the bottom, 4 inch fan at the top pulling, my guess is around 100 or so cfm.

constant temperature till around 13:15 when the sun started to treck behind the pines again, had the furnace running for a good solid 3 hours, only wish i could move a lot more air through it.

as far as posting the specs and directions, it is a long list and i had to deviate because of the size difference, i have the dvd for the full scale and if anyone wants to copy it, it is fine with me, just provide the blank dvd and unit to copy it and it's yours.

If you want the specs for my unit, i am willing to do a breakdown but it's going to cost some money.

google diy solar furnace, or solar heater, you will find pages that show multiple designs, the next one i build will be a simple box, there will be a channel underneath to allow cold air from the house and then above will be a zig zag of channels all painted black to allow air to heat up as it makes its way up the box, , very simple to build and only needs the window to be opened a couple inches

Accomplished project Swiss Cheese this saturday

4" puller fan at top, this is controlled by the thermostat inside the box
4" inlet at the bottom runs to a 6" push fan under the shelve thing in front of the window, that i installed a plug onto, there wasn't much sun out today so the unit only ran for a half hour or so.
              Free Heat though.

This will be comming for next winter, This past winter the solar heater put off some good heat, but the flow rate through it was anemic, i will be purchasing a squirel cage type fan that should move more air/greater veloicity, it wasn't a waste, it works anytime the sun is out or on slightly overcast days but i want something a bit more long term. If you research this as i have done, these wood chip piles, for example 40 tons of bio mass can provide 140* temps for 18-24 months and the left over is good soil. As in most of the video's i will be using this Poly tubing, in this example (800 feet bought from home depot costs just under $350) and layering it every 8 -10 inches in the pile, i will pick up a couple used cast iron radiators and a small pump to move the water and/or using a thermal syphon techique. you can set one of these piles up and also use the heat to genereate methane gas. Placing a gas vessel in the center and filling it with manure, the heat from the pile causes the manure to breakdown and create methane wich can be compressed stored and burned. Do a bit of searching, it's neat.
