Oh yeah... Had some wiring issues with 26 year old insulation cracking, the whole car shorted out after I installed a MAF setup and chip. Just handling the main wire harness to get the new wires spliced in completed the destruction of the old wiring. It ran intermittently, but I got pissed when it wouldn't run the day I was headed to Granite State Dyno and Tune for my 'after' run with the MAF. Got mad, motor was almost out the same day.
Currently motor is sitting in the garage on a stand awaiting a rebuild (Just new rings, gaskets, bearings throughout), a megasquirt conversion, Turbonetics GTK350 turbo upgrade among other things. Car is stripped inside, awaiting roll bar, fuel cell, new bosch 044 fuel pump. Getting painted after that, inside and out, my widebody should be here sometime this week. Car is up for a full rewire, then reinstall motor and kick some ass!
Definitely a long haul project, hoping itll run by late summer.Justin Chase
