Further along than i thought i'd be, had my dad and friend Roy help me out moving the heavy stuff, 80lb 9 inch third member is a bit awkward to move around. The backing plates will be in on tuesday. Had a bit of a moment as i was not aware of the 6+ inch difference on ford axles, i put the long axle into the drivers side and became a bit weak until i checked he other axle and it was significantly shorter. drive shaft length is pretty well perfect, not sure if i should upgrade the yokes on each end to 1350 series or just leave it as is, may already be, didn't delve that far into it. Still need to torque down the U-bolts but it should be done by next weekend.

Needed to pull the dowel pins as the holes in the housing are .500 and the pins were .5625, brought them over to Jim's and he turned them down on the lathe for me in exchange for some magnetic base stand. looks much better than they did pins are strait and not cockeyed.

With all the work into the rear end, why would you not get the rear leaf springs replaced instead of running super sketchy blocks? I've seen plenty of people loose those do to axle wrap off roading. I've also seen people with them launch at the strip get axle wrap and the block twist out. You run ladder bars at least I hope!

update, rear end is together, pics later on, runs good, discs look good. Quirk - yes i will be running cal-trac bars, they allow you to preload the pinion and eliminate axle wrap, similar to comp engineerings slide o link or what ever they are called it attatches under the front spring shackle and replaces or bolts up under the axle with the adjustable bar hung between them, should work out ok

springs in, took it on a beat run to get the blood moving again, good to feel 8psi that throws you hard into the seat.

Looks awesome man. May be time to relocate that charge pipe though...Looks like one run on hurricane mountain and you'll be walking back. I ran into the same problem w/my remote turbo setup.

Yea... it's gonna run through the cab, just have to decide what to do now, think i will delete the heater, i run it less than 3k a year and with the spool and 3 inch drop hurricane mtn is out, plus the wagon is fun and more practical, gas wise, wont cost me 200 bucks in fuel, think it's time for limited street and mostly strip. On the bright side, after my next tuning session and 600+ at the wheels i should be able to get into the 9's.

Holy hell that pipe is low. Why doesn't it tuck to the floor boards?! I've been following your build and wish i had the knowledge/tools to do my turbo set up as its going to cost a fortune to have it done.

it wont cost a fortune, i can help you out with it if you need work done. yes, i can't get the tip of my shoe under the charge pipe, and it can't be tucked up higher because of the stansions that come off the frame for the cab mounts, i'm going to do away with the heater and run the pipe inside the cab along the door sill and up through. it's going to be a fair amount of work but will look nicer when done
