I'm guessing this is due to the RT615K coming out, so he's clearing stock.

Correct, we've already sold out of the 205/50R15's. This post represents the last of the Azenis RT-615's that Motostar has in stock.

I have a set of 4 RT-615K's in stock in that size, $98.00/tire. The new style has gone up in price a bit, but if the improvements Falken has made to the tire prove successful I would say the increase was worth it.

It it too bad about the price increase on the new K series. The standard 615's were a steal for what you got but now 40.00 more per tire for the size I would look for would make me compare and look at other tires and see what's out there.

Yea no worries! As for the price increase, from what I have heard and read about the new K series, the compound is supposed to be significantly better than the previous edition. Falken has created a lighter, even stickier version of an already successful tire. We have to pay for all that R&D, hence the new price point.

There are very few DOT Street Legal track tire options at this price point even with the increase, I think that they will be popular once the old style sells out.

Glad to hear that you had good luck with the Kumho XS's, those are another great option at a similar price point.

The k series is in a different league. They are battling the star specs and nt05 and neovas. They are still cheap for the class of tire they are
